MY NAME IS GEORGE GILMOUR AND AS A 20+ YEAR RESIDENT OF BURNSVILLE, I AM RUNNING FOR MINNESOTA STATE HOUSE SEAT 52A AND I NEED YOUR HELP.

Over the past many years, I have spent a great deal of time complaining about the direction of our government, on many levels.  I have heard the speeches and the good intentions spoken by many candidates but once elected, they seem to disappear.  What then emerges are stories of controversy, massive spending and little delivery.  Well, I got tired of listening to promises without production and frankly I got tired of just complaining about the situation.

Over 100 years ago Edward Everett Hale said:

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And just because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
I have had the opportunity to help a church triple in size, assist a National Office Equipment location become one of the top performers in the country and I did the same for a local division of a fortune 100 National Telecom Co..  I know what it takes to take a struggling situation and bring it up to positive notoriety. It takes VISION, an AGGRESSIVE PLAN, HARD WORK and GOOD PEOPLE.

All of us want similar things out of our legislators.  We want and need a government that has sensibility, dependability, integrity and accountability.  I would like to see those things restored in our state and for the headlines across America to read about that instead of what they have been seeing.
